# Create a Cluster

## Steps ▶️

1. **Project & region**: select placement
2. **Version**: choose a supported Kubernetes release
3. **Networking**: pick **VPC/subnet**; enable public LB if required
4. **Node pool**: size (vCPU/RAM), count (min/max if autoscale), OS image
5. **Storage**: enable CSI; default **StorageClass** → NVMe tier
6. **Create** and download **kubeconfig**

## Sizing tips 📏

* Start **3 nodes** for HA control-plane integrations and disruptions
* Separate pools for **system** vs **workloads**
* Use larger nodes for CPU-bound apps; memory-optimized for caches
