Resize / Reinstall / Delete

Manage lifecycle changes safely.

Resize

• Change vCPU/RAM by selecting a new size (may require shutdown)

• Verify disk and network settings after resize

• Instances → VM → VM Settings → Change Plan

Delete

• Confirm you’ve backed up data and released public IPs

• Deleting the instance does not delete detached volumes by default

• Click on Destroy

Enter the reason for deletion and from when you would like the service to end (Immediately or End of Billing Cycle)

Interfaces

• Create a new network

• Attach an existing network

• Instances → VM → VM Settings → Interfaces

Block Storage

• Create and attach new block storage to the VM

• Resize the block storage

• Create block storage snapshots

• Instances → VM → VM Settings → Block Storage

Reset VM Password

• Change virtual machine password

• Instances → VM → VM Settings → Reset Password

VM Activity Logs

• View activity logs of the virtual machine

• Instances → VM → Activity Logs
