Create VM disk snapshots to protect against misconfigurations and roll back quickly.
Navigate to Snapshots → Create New
Choose project and data center location
Create snapshot from the instance or block storage
Label snapshots (owner/env/reason) and prune regularly
Review the billing summary and Create Snapshot
Snapshot before major updates, migrations, or schema changes
For app-consistency, quiesce services first
